Heaven or hell
I awake lying amongst the buttercups and bluebonnets in this field of beauty . I am in heaven.
I awake wondering why even bother. I am in hell.
I communicate what I accept in a relationship. I am creating my version of heaven.
I allow someone to speak unkindly or disrespectfully to me. I am creating my version of hell.
I lie in bed counting my blessings for such a glorious day. I acknowledge my life in heaven.
I lie awake in bed unable to sleep worrying about disasters. I acknowledge my life in hell.
I am dreaming of this glorious life where:
- around every corner is a pleasing opportunity,
- through every encounter is a recognition of God,
- where my job has merged with my pleasure in life,
- where I know that I am loved
- where I am enmeshed in the natural opulence of life
- where Divine creativity flows in and through all that I do.
Then I look around and realize that I am not dreaming, but truly am awake. Now I know that I live in Heaven.
God is Life. To allow God's Love to shine in my thoughts and to manifest in my life is to allow heaven.
When I know that Life and living are the same, Spirit and matter cannot be separated, Divine Principle and Universal Creating are the same Law, then I know that God Is. Becoming these beliefs is to
recognize Wordworth's song that Heaven is the native home of all mankind.
